and has been in
Christian radio
since 1990. She
and Darin married
in 1987 at
Ouachita Baptist
University where
Lisa studied
music. They have
lived in Florida,
Arkansas,
Louisiana,
Missouri, Iowa,
North Carolina,
Illinois, and
Germany. Florida
is by far their
favorite! Darin,
Lisa, and her
precious Momma (as
well as Olive, the
world's cutest
chocolate-brown
cocker spaniel)
live together in
Lakeland about 5
minutes from their
church, Lisa's
favorite place to
be. She likes to
sing, pray, read,
walk, swim, work
in the yard---and
she loves talking
on the radio to
her friends and
playing awesome

Smith |

Scott
resides in Port
Orange (Yes, he
makes the I-4 trek
everyday, but at
4am there is not a
lot of traffic).
Scott is the head
of a family of
four including his
lovely wife Missy
and two sons,
Nathan and Austin.
Scott was saved at
a young age and
later rededicated
his life to Jesus
at the age of 19.
He began working
in radio at the
age of 15 in a
small town in
Minnesota. Scott's
radio career has
also taken him
through stations
in South Dakota
and Daytona Beach.
His walk with the
Lord brought him
to Z88.3
in 1996. In
addition to
co-hosting the Z
Morning Crew,
Scott is Z's
Music Director. He
and his family are
active at the Rock
Church of Daytona.

Dean
made his radio
debut in Kansas
City at the age of
15. From his
Midwest
beginnings, he has
been up and down
the dial in
Daytona Beach,
Orlando (Cool
105.9/ Joyful
95.3/Magic 107.7)
and Nashville
where Dean was
General Manager of
the Reach
Satellite Network
and Solid
Gospel 105.
His years of radio
antics have taken
him through many a
studio on the
ground and the
cockpit of a
Cessna 172
airplane doing
traffic reports
(but not receiving
any frequent flyer
miles). Dean and
his wife Leisa
live in Altamonte
Springs with their
grandfather
Ernest. Dean was
present at the
birth of Z88.3
in 1995 and after
a year hiatus,
returned in
October of 1997 as
Operations
Director and Chief
Operator. He and
Leisa love going
to Northland - A
Church
Distributed.

Being
born in Savannah,
Tim Wolf has taken
the Georgia peach
thing a bit too
far. He has
decided to be true
to his birth state
by sporting fuzzy
facial hair. His
family moved to
Florida when Tim
was 2. Tim was
saved at the age
of 16 and began
his radio career
at 18. Now for any
of you that may be
wondering, that is
Tim's real,
natural voice.
That very
distinctive voice
has graced the
airwaves of WMIE,
WPIO and WAJL
before coming to Z88.3.
After working in
various capacities
part-time he
joined the Zstaff
full-time in
February of 1998.
Tim and wife
Deanna reside in
Apopka.

man! Jim loves his
girls, all three
of them! Gabriella
and Viviana, and
the woman who is
responsible for
his children's
above average good
looks and
intelligence,
their mom, Eunice!
Jim
was born in Texas
and grew up on the
border of Virginia
and West Virginia
in the city of
Bluefield. He
began is
broadcasting
career at the age
of 3 on his
grandmother's TV
show, Kiddie
Kapers,
becoming a
"hot rock
jock" on
radio during his
high school and
college years.
Jim
has degrees in
electrical
engineering
technology and
business
administration and
says that his
education, life
experiences in
secular radio and
broadcast
equipment
manufacturing have
prepared him
providentially for
"such a time
as this".
The
Hoges live in
Wekiva and are
active at First
Baptist Church of
Sweetwater. Jim
enjoys being in
service to the
Body of Christ
with the ministry
of Z88.3
and the challenges
of maintaining the
Zradio
website. But most
of all, Jim loves
being his kid's
dad and Eunice's
adoring husband.

Jim,
seen here blowing

that he's too
young to have been
on the Titanic and
too old to have
been one of the
original members
of Barney's
School Yard Gang.
Jim Davis is a
native Floridian,
born in the town
of Milton, Florida
(way up yonder in
the panhandle).
His family moved
to Orlando when he
was a year old. He
is a shining
example of an
Orange County
education,
completed by
graduating from
UCF!
His
years of radio
experience started
at WUCF, WAJL
and the defunct Joy
108 - WJYO and
Pride 1440 -
WPRD. Beleive
it or not, Jim
used to answered
the phone there
as, "Orlando's
Pride and
Joy!"
(Get it? Funny
eh?)
In
the mid 1980's
while at Joy
108, Jim
started a Sunday
morning
Contemporary
Christian show
called The
Glory Of Joy.
One of the show's
biggest fans was a
young DeLand
resident, General
Jim. (Yes, the
last bio below)
The General, who
was still in
bootcamp at the
time, was so taken
with Jim's show
that he was
inspired to bring
contemporary
Christian music to
Central Florida
all seven days,
not just Sunday
morning. This
resulted in the
birth of Z88.3,
but this is Jim
Davis's bio so
let's move on...
Jim
Davis spent
several years
hosting The
Glory Of Joy
even after Joy
108 became Magic
107.7 - WMGF.
It was long after Z88.3
was on the air
that Mr. Davis
learned of his
unwitting
influence and
inspiration that
had led to Z's
creation and was
asked to come on
board.
Jim
lives in Ocoee
with his wife,
Karin and his son,
Jameson and
daughter, Jessica
and attend First
Baptist of
Windermere. Jim
Davis can be heard
on Z88.3
middays and is
still that
familiar Sunday
Morning voice that
Central Floridians
grew up with on Sunday
Joy. A
light mix of
praise and worship
music which airs 7
AM to 1 PM,
Sundays, on Positive
Hits - Z88.3.
