Child Browser Protection Proposal

This Proposal only requires two simple steps in order for it to work Click here for a diagram of the following:

1) The adult-content sites would be required to insert a second Title Tag with a specific tag-name - such as <title>Child_Browser_Protection</title> - inserted within the HTML code of their webpages so users with enabled Browsers may pick them up. The second Title Tag is not viewable on any Browser nor can it interfere with the webpage itself. This is because the website is only capable of displaying the default Title Tag which in turn ignores the second Title Tag. Click here for an example, notice the Title of this page which is called "Adult Website". But if you view the source code of this page you will notice there are actually two Title Tags instead of one. The second Title Tag called "Child_Browser_Protection" cannot be viewed on the browser itself because the the first Title Tag is the default which automatically ignores the second one. This is important since Title Tags cannot be skipped or turned off unlike java or meta-tags. This also makes it more difficult for programmers or hackers to create inventive ways to get around. These Title Tags do not interfere with the webpage since they are hidden within the HTML code and cannot be seen on the webpage but are only activated only when an enabled browser comes upon it. So disabled browsers will simply skip right past the code not recognizing it or its function.

2) The Browsers such as Explorer, Netscape, and AOL would add in their upgraded browsers a “Child Browser Security” option which allows users to “enable” or “disable” their internet browsers to recognize these Title Tags within the adult-content sites. This would block these websites from being view within personal computers. Basically, the enabled browsers would be looking for the second Title Tag
"Child_Browser_Protection" as the trigger to block the user from viewing the adult-oriented websites. The enabled browser is also designed to override any other downloads or defaulted browsers on the computer system from being used and is compiled so it cannot be deleted.

This proposal is very simple and effective. It helps block these sites in homes, schools, libraries, the workplace and more. The following diagrams give you a step-by-step process on how this process works.

*Only Federal bills or ICAN can enforce these Title Tags inside the adult-oriented websites. Possible other incentives may be by the Search Engines themselves requiring the these adult-oriented websites to insert the Title Tags or face being banned from their Search Engines.
