This dress is as tricky to make as it looks.  While the waist is high, we are dealing with a rear end so the netting doesn’t start until after the gathering.  Look at the front very closely, see where the last pearl strand hits?  That’s where the netting for this dress starts.  In keeping with the period the dress has gold fringe cording up the front and gold cording around the hem.  Boning in the bodice of course.  But, you can move easily in it.
