This
gown is actually made for a larger woman.
The long sleeves were an addition because she wanted to
keep the puffiness.
The waistline was lowered and the part where the “V”
starts and skirt comes out actually where her rear ends.
This, with a couple of front end darts (her top isn’t
that large) gives a really nice proportion illusion.
In addition the high color lace is taken from the lace at
the bottom of the dress and the sleeves allowing for a more
symmetrical look.
The under skirt is a hoop (I personally like crinoline). |
