Family
Trusted has developed digital child identification
software to help implement the mission of The National Center
for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
The basic Family Trusted child identification software
program is part of Polaroid
Corporation's Digital
KidCare ID program run at community and other events
throughout the United States beginning in the Fall of
2001 and with NCMEC's complete support. Polaroid's non-digital
KidCare program has provided child
identification for more than 12 million children since
1993.
The Digital KidCare ID floppy disk, distributed
at community events, has all the necessary information to assist
the authorities in locating a missing child. However,
Family Trusted offers an upgrade version to the Digital
KidCare ID. The upgrade - Family Protection CD - allows additional photos and detailed
information to be added in the convenience and privacy of your
home.
We will provide free software updates and information on this
web site to help parents keep current on what they can do to

upgrades.

Need for New Technology Solution

abducted or missing occur within the first three hours. Delay makes safe child recovery more difficult and less
likely. As a result, NCMEC has encouraged parents to assemble information about their child and pictures
